The Consortium of NLUs, the conducting body of Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2021 has announced that they have decided to postpone CLAT 2021 exam.
Whereas initially the exam was scheduled to be held on June 13, 2021, it will now be held on a new date. The new exam date has not been decided yet.
Also, the last date to apply has been extended to June 15, 2021. It may be noted that initially, today, May 15, 2021, was the last date to apply.
The official notice reads:
“The Executive Committee of the Consortium of National Law Universities met on May 15, 2021. After reviewing the surge of COVID-19 pandemic in the country and keeping in view of health and safety of all stakeholders of CLAT, the Committee resolved that:
The CLAT-2021 scheduled to be held on June 13, 2021 stands postponed. New date of the Test will be notified in due course.
Further, the last date for submission of online application has been extended to June 15, 2021.

Candidates who have successfully submitted the CLAT 2021 application form and remitted the application fee as per their categories in the given time need to wait for further date updates. The next step will be the issuance of admit card, followed by conduct of CLAT UG, PG exams.
