Mudra Institute of Communications, Ahmedabad (MICA) has released the MICAT Result 2019 for the exam took place on December 01, 2018. Candidates who have appeared for the exam can download the scorecard from the official website of MICA at http://www.mica.ac.in. The result is easily downloadable by entering the user id and password as received during the registration process.

The MICAT 2019 Result is available in the form of scorecard containing the sectional and overall scores in the exam. Once the MICAT window 2 result is also available then MICA will call the students for the Group Exercise and Personal Interview round. In case, a student has appeared for both the window, then the better of the two performances will be considered.
The admission process for MICA is so rigorous that only 1/10 out of total students applied are selected for the GEPI round. Before that, candidates have to go through four stage elimination. For MICA selection, there is a three-stage selection process.
First, it is important that candidates have appeared for one of the national level exams among CAT 2018 / XAT 2019 / GMAT (2017 onwards). Candidates have to upload the exam details latest by January 30, 2019. For CAT and GMAT, upload the scores as soon as they are available. For XAT, upload only the registration number. If candidates have appeared for more than one of these examinations, then the performance of best of two or three will be considered.
Second, the MICA Admission Test (MICAT) in which performance in the three sections will be considered. Section A, B, and C are the Psychometric Test, four sub-sections, and the Descriptive Test. Last and the third criteria is the GEPI round. For which students will be called on the basis of their cumulative performance in the previous two criteria.
Further, the preparation of shortlisting is based on the four-stage elimination round. First qualifier round is the Psychometric Test. Second, performance in CAT/GMAT/ XAT on the basis of minimum cut-off set by the university. After qualifying this round, performance in Section B will be measured. Following that performance in the Descriptive Test will be considered if a candidate clears the cutoff marks of the normalized score for each section.
Students clearing all these rounds will be called for GEPI in one of the centers at Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Delhi, Kolkata & Mumbai.
The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of the majority of the PI panelists and the composite scores of each round. The weightage is 20%, 30%, 20%, and 30% for CAT/XAT/GMAT, MICAT, GE, and PI respectively. Candidates who want to improve their scores can appear for the MICAT-II. Registration for which is starting from January 03, 2019.
