The Savitribhai Phule Pune University state agency has successfully conducted the Maharashtra SET 2021 examination today. The first session of the examination was held between 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM while the second session took place from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM. Candidates after successfully qualifying for MH SET 2021 will be eligible to apply for the post of Assistant Professors in the universities and colleges of Maharashtra and Goa. Experts are of the opinion that the questions for MH SET 2021 were not tough. Although the questions were tricky but experts have claimed the overall question paper to be ‘amazing’. Candidates who have appeared for the Chemistry paper say that most of the questions were based on the basics and fundamentals.
Coming to the MH SET cut-offs, it is seen that the cut-offs vary across different subjects as well as categories. For instance, in 2020, the highest cut-off was for Sanskrit – 66 for the general category candidates. Similarly, for other subjects, the cut-offs were: Marathi – 48.67, Hindi – 53.33, English – 54, Sanskrit – 58.67, History – 49.33, etc. In 2019, the cut-offs were: Marathi – 47.33, Hindi – 53.33, English – 57.33, Sanskrit – 63.33, Urdu – 68, etc.

MH SET 2021 is a pen and paper based examination in which students are given test booklets and OMR sheets. The answers have to be marked on the OMR sheet and the test booklet or question paper can be carried by the candidate. While the question papers for MH SET 2021 are not out officially, students can find the same on social media platforms and You Tube. So, simply type MH SET 2021 question paper on the You Tube search box and check out the videos that are available.
Similarly, the official answer keys for MH SET 2021 have not been released by the Savitribhai Phule Pune University state agency yet. Nevertheless, the unofficial ones are released on You Tube. These answer keys are more of paper discussions in which subject experts elaborate on each question. Candidates can check these unofficial answer keys to get an idea about the tentative score. However, they must refer to the official answer keys once they are released.
To calculate the tentative score based on the unofficial answer keys for MH SET 2021, refer to the marking scheme. Paper I comprises 50 compulsory MCQs. Each question carries 02 marks. Similarly, Paper II has100 compulsory MCQs. Each question will carry 02 marks. There will be no negative marking for the incorrect answers.
