Territorial Army 2021 Answer Key published by Defence Jobs Mentors Online, Exam Termed Moderately Difficult

The written examination for Territorial Army 2021 has been successfully held today. There were two papers for the examination namely Paper I and Paper II. Each of the two papers had a duration 02 hours. The first paper was held from 10 AM to 12 PM while the second paper was conducted from 2 PM to 4 Pm. Candidates stated that in Paper I, which covers reasoning and elementary mathematics, most of the questions were easy and very basic. As per them, the level of questions was doable. Mathematics had a balanced question paper because the questions were from log, geometry, mensuration, ratio & proportion, percentage, profit and loss, etc. More or less, it covered all the basic topics of mathematics. However, as per candidates, two questions from number system were time-consuming. Most of the questions from the reasoning portion were single-layered. Likewise, the second paper or Paper II on general knowledge and english was easy as well.

Coming to the answer keys, since the official ones are not yet available, candidates can refer to the unofficial answer keys that are released by the coaching centres. These answer keys are provisional and can only help the candidate get an idea about the expected score. Under Paper I, there are two parts namely reasoning and elementary mathematics. Both of these parts carry 50 questions each. The maximum marks allotted for each part is 50. The same pattern is for Paper II which again has two parts namely general knowledge and english. Please note that there is a negative marking of 0.5 marks for every incorrect answer. Using this marking scheme and the unofficial answer keys, candidates can predict the expected score.

The official cut-offs of the previous year Territorial Army examination are not available. However, the minimum qualifying mark for each part of the papers separately is 40%. However, the overall minimum average in each paper is 50%.
