The Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) is going to release the results for the Manipal Entrance Test (MET) 2022 today, i.e. June 17, 2022. Candidates who have appeared for the entrance test for B.Tech, B.Pharm, PharmD and Integrated M.Sc. Mathematics and Computing courses will be able to check the merit list via the official website – manipal.edu. The results will be released for both phase 1 and phase 2 exams. Moreover, the exam was held from May 14 to 16 and June 09 to 11, 2022. Candidates had to appear for the exam in a computer-based test (CBT) mode at the designated exam centres.
How to check?
MAHE is expected to release the merit list at around 5 PM in the evening. However, experts predict that the results may be announced at 8 PM. Nonetheless, it is advised that candidates keep an eye on the official website for all updates. Here’s how one can check the Manipal MET 2022 result.
Step 1- Go to the official website of MAHE at manipal.edu
Step 2- Click on the MAHE entrance test result link that will be displayed on the screen
Step 3- Enter the registration number, followed by the password and then click on the ‘Submit’ button
Step 4- Download the scorecard and take a printout of the same for future reference.
As per sources, the link for checking the results will also be sent to the candidates on their respective email IDs. Thus, they must keep an eye on their emails to stay updated with the results. Furthermore, after each round of MET counseling, a closing rank up to which admissions will be offered is going to be provided. The ones who will have a rank below the cut-off will not be considered for admission. MAHE will be announcing the results as per the final answer keys.
The factors that determine the cut-off marks or opening and closing ranks in the counseling process are the number of candidates who appeared for the Manipal MET 2022 exam, the overall performance of the candidates in the exam and the total number of seats available for each course. It must be noted that mere inclusion of one’s name in the merit list or even a call to attend the counseling process does not guarantee admission to the particular course. The official website further mentions that in case the candidate has provided false information or qualification, then their admission is likely to be cancelled.
