After releasing the exam dates of all its exams, the state common entrance test cell has now published syllabus and marking scheme of 5 of the Maharashtra CETs 2020. At cetcell.mahacet.org, syllabus and marking scheme for MAH MBA MMS CET 2020, MAH MCA CET 2020, MAH M.Arch CET 2020, MAH BHMCT CET 2020, and MAH MHMCT CET 2020 are now available for download.
To start with, it may be noted, that the MBA CET 2020 will have four sections. Logical reasoning, abstract reasoning, quantitative aptitude, verbal ability and reading comprehension will be the sections and they will respectively have 75, 25, 50, and 50 questions. Each question will be of 1 mark, and all will be multiple choice. There won’t be any negative marking.
This test will be online, 150 minutes long, in which candidates will have to attempt 200 questions of 200 marks. Medium of the exam shall be english.
MCA CET 2020 shall also have four sections. Here the sections will ne mathematics and statistics, logical and abstract reasoning, english comprehension and verbal ability, computer concepts. These sections will have 30, 30, 20, 20 questions respectively. Again, questions will be MCQ type but here each question will carry 2 marks.
It will be a 90 minutes long test with 100 questions of 200 marks. There will also be negative marking of 0.5 mark per incorrect answer. Exam will be online, medium of the exam shall be english.
MAH M.Arch CET 2020 could be either online or offline. The test will have 5 sections namely building technology, environment, architecture history and humanities, settlement design and planning, current architecture practice. They will have 10 questions each. Each question shall be worth 2 marks.
The test duration shall be 60 minutes, in which one has to attempt 50 questions. No negative marking.
The exam for BHMCT admissions, MAH BHMCT CET 2020, will be an online test in english. It will have three sections. First will be english language with 40 questions of 40 marks. Second will be verbal and arithmetic reasoning with 30 questions of 30 marks. Third shall be general knowledge and awareness including questions on current national, international affairs, culture, trade and commerce, sports, scientific inventions and discoveries, travel, tourism. The last section will also have 30 questions of 30 marks.
This test will be of 90 marks, each question shall carry 1 mark, and in total there will be 100 questions. Again, no negative marking.
MAH MHMCT CET 2020 will have five sections in the test. They will be food beverage operation, food production, rooms division, english, hospitality industry related. All sections shall have 10 questions each. Each question will carry 2 marks.
The 60 minute long test will thus have 50 questions, all in english language. It may be online or offline as per the final decision of the CET Cell. There will not be any negative marking in this test.
It has already been announced that MBA CET will be held on March 14 and 15, 2020, MCA CET exam date is March 28, 2020, MAH BHMCT CET will be held on May 10, 2020, MAH MHMCT CET exam date is May 16, 2020, and MAH M.Arch CET will be held on May 10, 2020.
Dates for other Maharashtra CETs are also out. MAH LLB CET, MAH BPED CET, MAH B.Ed/M.Ed CET, MAH MPED CET, MAH BA/BSc B.Ed CET, MAH M.Ed CET, MAH B.Ed and B.Ed Elct CET, MAH LLB CET will respectively be held on April 12, May 11, May 12 to 13, May 12, May 14, May 20, May 26, June 13 to 14, and June 28, 2020.
