Madras University has released the result of UG, PG, and Professional Degree Exam. The result was declared this evening, on February 04. Students can visit the website of Madras University, http://www.unom.ac.in to check the result. The University of Madras had conducted the examination in the month of November 2018.
Students’ register number is required to check the result. An Undergraduate student shall be declared to pass the exam if he/she secure a minimum of 40% marks (External/Internal) and for the Postgraduate students the qualifying marks are 50% (External/Internal). After the declaration of the result, the students can apply for the revaluation of the answer script.

Madras University Results is available on the official website only and can be checked in a few simple steps. Students can check UG, PG, and Professional Result by following the steps mentioned. First of all, visit the website http://www.unom.ac.in and click the link ‘For Result Click’, ‘Result Server 1’, and ‘Result Server 2’ (anyone). Enter the register number and check the result.
All the students appeared for the semester exam are eligible to apply for the revaluation of the answer script but PG students are not eligible to apply for the re-totaling of answer script.
To apply for the re-valuation of the answer script all students are eligible only if they have appeared for the end semester exam. Pass out students are not eligible for the revaluation.
All UG & PG students can download the answer script if they have applied for the revaluation of the answer script. Students can download the photocopy of answer script from the website of the university after 15 days from the date of result publication.
A student shall be allowed maximum two-year duration beyond the normal period to clear the backlog to be qualified for the degree in case the students are not able to complete the program within the normal period prescribed for the programme. A UG/PG student qualifying during the extended period shall not be eligible for the ranking.
Madras University conducts the degree examination in the month of April and November. A student is eligible to appear in the exam if he/she earned sufficient attendance by the university. The eligible students have to submit the exam form along with the fees. The University releases the hall ticket online.
