Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has announced new exam date for RRB ALP Stage 2 CBT which was not held on January 21, 22, and 23, due to various technical issues. The examination for candidates who were not able to take the test on the due date, will now give RRB Assistant Loco Pilot and Technician examination on February 08, 2018.
The candidates can download their new admit card for RRB ALP CBT 2 from the official zonal website. In order to download the hall ticket, the candidates need to access “CEN 01/2018 Admit Card” link. Following it, a new login will open. To access it, the candidates will have to enter the user id and date of birth. In the dashboard look for the e-call letter tab and from it download the admit card of RRB ALP CBT 2.
Through the admit card, candidates will get to know the exam time, city, address, and more details. It is an important document which will be needed to gain entry in the exam hall. The RRB ALP Admit Card has to be carried as a print out. Along with it, candidates also need to carry one passport size photograph and valid id card. The photo should be the same as that uploaded in the application form. A valid id card can be passport, voter id card, aadhar card, pan card, etc.
The RRB ALP CBT 2 is divided in Part A and B. Candidates need to attempt both the part. However, Part B is only the qualifying exam. The duration of Part A is 90 minutes and to solve Part B, candidates will get 60 minutes.
In Part A, there will be 100 questions from Mathematics, General Intelligence and Reasoning, Basic Science and Engineering, and General Awareness and Current Affairs. From first two subjects, 25 questions each will be asked. Whereas the number of questions from Basic Science and Engineering will be 40. From Current Affairs only 10 questions will be asked. All the questions will be of 1 marks and negative marking of 1/3 marks will be done.
On the other hand, In the Part B the candidates only need to solve 75 questions. These will also be of multiple choice type and will be asked from DGET trade syllabus. The cutoff marks to pass Part A is 40%
for general candidates, 30% for OBC and SC candidates, and 25% for ST candidates. Once the examination is held for all the candidates. RRB will release RRB ALP Answer Key 2018 for CBT 2. It will be released online and candidates will be able to download it from the login.
