Only 3 Indian Universities have found a place in the ‘Top 200 in the World’ in Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings 2021. The Lovel Professional University is one of them. LPU has also topped, The Impact Ranking 2021 when it comes to its focus on ‘Affordable and Clean Energy’ among Indian Universities (22nd globally). Additionally, the University has also got the second spot in India for ‘Decent Work and Economic Growth’, a parameter that measures a university on the share of its students getting placements, its economics research, and employment practices.
It has been a great achievement for the University given that the University has participated in the rankings for the first time.
LPU has also been jointly ranked 1 st in India on the parameter, ‘Partnership for the Goals’. The parameter looks at the broader ways in which universities support the SDGs through collaboration with other countries, promotion of best practices and publication of data.
In the rankings, LPU has got higher ranks than that of the notable Indian universities like IIT (Indore, Rourkela, Guwahati, Gandhinagar), NIT (Silchar, Tiruchirrapalli), Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Manipal Academy of Higher Education, SRM Institute of Science and Technology, VIT University and many more.
