Lovely Professional University (LPU) is starting their admission process for the academic session 2019-20 from the first week of October 2018 with the release of LPUNEST 2019 Application Form. Lovely Professional University National Entrance and Scholarship Test (LPUNEST) is held for admission in B.Tech courses offered by the university. As per the latest information available in the university’s website the LPUNEST 2019 application forms will be available from the first week of October 2018.
However, before this, the applications forms were to be made available from the first week of November 2018, as indicated by the website of LPU. But the recent updates state that the application form dates have been revised and the application forms for LPUNEST 2019 will begin now in October instead of November.
Candidates who are appearing in class 12 can apply for LPUNEST 2019. Candidates who have already qualified the class 12 examination can also appear for the test. In addition to that, a minimum of 60% marks is mandatory to appear in LPUNEST 2019. The subject combination that a candidate must have is Physics, Chemistry, English and either Maths or Biology or Biotechnology.
To take admission candidates have to qualify this entrance test. Qualifying the entrance test has an added benefit. On the basis of LPUNEST (B.Tech.) score, the university intends to award extensive Scholarship up to Rs. 5.5 Lac per student
There are 15 B.Tech courses offered at Lovely Professional University. Thus, candidates qualifying LPUNEST 2019, can enroll in any one of them for the academic session 2019-20. LPUINEST is conducted across the nation in online mode only.
No other dates of admission process have been announced as of now. It is expected that with the release of the application forms the dates of LPUNEST 2019 exam and other related events will be made available.
In the entrance exam, there will be 30 questions asked from each subject – Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology. In addition to that 20 questions will be asked in English too. +4 marks are awarded for correct answers, however, there is no negative marking. Syllabus for LPUNEST 2019 exam remains pretty much like that of syllabus of class 11 and 12 level.
The admission process is simple and straight, one has to fill out the application form for LPUNEST 2019, qualify the same and then appear in the counselling rounds where after the document verifications candidates will be allotted seats in their preferred engineering courses.
