Lady Hardinge Medical College is inviting applications from eligible candidates to fill up vacancies for the post of Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT). As per a detailed recruitment notification published by LHMC at the official website, there are 62 vacancies available for the aforementioned post. Eligible and interested candidates are invited to forward their applications within 30 days of the date of publication of the recruitment notice in Employment News. Candidates from the states of Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Ladakh, Jammu & Kashmir, Andaman & Nicobar and Lakshadweep, as well as those belonging from the districts of Lahaul & Spiti and Pangi Sub-Division of Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh, must forward their applications within 37 days of the publication of the notice in Employment News.
As per the recruitment notice, 50 vacancies are available in LHMC & Smt. S.K. Hospital, New Delhi and 12 vacancies are available in Kalawati Saran Children’s Hospital, New Delhi. The vacancies are for Group B, Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial posts of Medical Laboratory Technologist in the Pay Matrix Level 06 (35400-112400).
Candidates within the maximum age of 30 years are eligible to apply for the post. Government servants are entitled to relaxations on the upper age limit by up to 5 years. Candidates are advised to go through the detailed advertisement for the complete details of category-wise age relaxations applicable as per government norms. Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science in order to apply. In addition, candidates must have minimum experience of 2 years in a recognized hospital/institution in the post of Medical Laboratory Technologist or Laboratory Technologist in order to apply for recruitment to the aforementioned posts.
The selection of the eligible applicants who submit their application before the last date and who have completed their qualifications before the last date is subject to medical fitness/written exam conducted by the medical college. In case the number of applicants is large, the institution may adopt any criteria for the screening & shortlisting of eligible applicants.
Candidates who are eligible and wish to apply must pay a fee of Rs 300 through NTR portal bharatkosh.gov.in. The application fee is exempted for SC/ST candidates and PWD candidates only. Candidates can learn the detailed process of payment of the application fee through the aforementioned NTR portal from the detailed recruitment notification available at the website. In addition, applications must be enclosed with self-attested copies of age certificate, educational qualifications, experience certificate, caste/category certificate, disability certificate and other testimonials & supporting documents wherever applicable.
All applications, completed as per directives and attached with the specified documents must be forwarded to the Director, LHMC & SSKH, Shaheed Bhagat Singh Marg New Delhi by speed or registered post only. The name of the post and the name of the institution applied for must be clearly superscribed at the left corner of the envelope. The final merit lists are to be drawn on the basis of the marks obtained in the written test. The institute will not reimburse any allowance to appear in the examination.
