The Sample Papers 2018-19 are now available for Class 10, 12 students. The students can download the sample papers released by the Central Board of Secondary Education from cbse.nic.in. The sample papers are available for the core subjects as well as for the vocational subjects. Along with the model papers, the board has also released the marking scheme for the same subject.
The students of class 10, 12 can go to the official website of CBSE. Then click on the tab “Examinations” to reach the syllabus/ curriculum/ sample papers. After that, hit the tab “Sample Papers”. Then the list of the sample papers will be available. Now, the students can download the sample papers they want.
Not only the sample papers but CBSE has also mentioned the marking scheme for the respective subjects. For the marking scheme, the pdf file is available and the board has defined the distribution of the marks for the different sections. Candidates can use the sample papers and the marking scheme for the preparations.
For class 10, 12 students, the CBSE Date Sheet 2019 is expected to be released in the fourth week of December 2018. There is no specific date and reports available for the release of the date sheet. But according to the notification released by CBSE, this year, all the activities related to the board exams will be done 15 days prior. Last year, the date sheet was released on January 10, 2018. So this year, it is expected to be available in the last week of December 2018.
In a circular released by CBSE, it has also mentioned that this year, the board exams will be held in a different manner than the usual. The board is conducting the exams for the vocational and the core subjects separately. For the skill educational subjects, the board exams will be held in the month of February 2019 while for the core subjects, the board will conduct the exams in the month of March 2019. In the notice released by CBSE, the board has also stated that the activities related to the board exams will be finished before February 15, 2019, and the exams will be started after this date.
This year, the CBSE board has also made many changes in the exam pattern. This time the pattern of English paper will be different for class 12 students. Now, there will be 19 questions in Section A of 30 marks. Earlier, the number of questions was 24. So, the overall questions for Class English subject will be reduced to 35 from 40. According to the circular released by CBSE, the number of internal choices for the various subjects has also been increased by 33% in all the sections.
As per the latest news after the board exams, the students who will apply for the photocopy of the evaluated answer sheet will get it at Rs. 2. So, the students will have to pay 2 rupees per page for the answer sheet. The Supreme Court has directed the board to do so.
