Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is currently conducting the application process for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2021. Candidates are instructed to submit the online application form on the official website ctet.nic.in. They are instructed to complete all the online application formalities latest by October 19, 2021,11:59 pm. Thereafter, the last date to pay the application fee is October 20,2021, till 3:30 pm. Candidates who have already completed the formalities have to wait for the correction window to open, in case they wish to correct their CTET 2021 application. For those who haven’t submitted their application yet, here are 5 mistakes to avoid –
# Submitting multiple online CTET 2021 application forms
The information brochure clearly specifies that all candidates need to submit only ONE CTET 2021 application form. If they commit any mistake in their form, candidates are advised to wait for the correction window to open rather than filling the form again. If authorities find 2 or more forms submitted by a candidate, they may cancel his/her candidature. The best option is to fill the form perfectly at the first instant to avoid the risk.
# Paying the application fee through money order, demand draft, IPO, etc
All candidates are expected to pay their application fee using online sources such as Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking or e-Challan via Syndicate or Canara Bank. Any other online sources along with offline sources will not be accepted. If paid using any of the unauthorized sources, a confirmation page will not be generated. Therefore, a candidate’s application form will not be accepted.
# Sending hardcopy of CTET 2021 application form to the CTET unit.
CTET 2021 registration process is taking place ONLY through the online mode on the official website ctet.nic.in. All registration formalities right from generating the login credentials to paying the application fee need to be completed through the online mode. No candidate is required to submit hardcopies of their fully-filled form or documents to CBSE.
# Mentioning incomplete address details in the CTET 2021 application form
The CTET 2021 information brochure strictly instructs candidates to fill their complete email address and normal address ALONG with postal pincode in the application form. The email address will be used to maintain communication with the candidate. It can be speculated that the address details are a must for assigning an exam centre. Hence, both these details need to be filled correctly and in their entirety.
# Forgetting to print the confirmation page of fee payment
The last step of the CTET 2021 registration process is to pay the application fee and print the confirmation page. This page is a sign that the fee has been successfully processed. So, it is of utmost importance to print the confirmation page for future reference.
