Union Public Service Commission is going to end the application process of UPSC ESE 2022 on October 12, 2021. The candidates who possess the required eligibility criteria can apply for the 247 vacancies announced, on the official website, upsconline.nic.in.
According to the datasheet for UPSC ESE 2022, the preliminary exam is going to be held on February 20, 2022. Whereas, the candidates who wish to withdraw their application form can do it from October 20 to 26, 2021.
The age limit for candidates willing to apply for UPSC ESE is 21 years to 30 years. Those who belong to the reserved category can avail the age relaxations admissible to their category. Along with this, they must be having a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from a recognised university or college.
UPSC ESE 2022 preliminary exam is an offline test having two papers, GS and Engineering based papers. Paper 1 i.e. General Studies & Engineering Aptitude accounting for 200 questions and paper 2 is going to have 300 questions. The candidates will get 2 hours to complete paper 1 and 3 hours for paper 2. As per the marking scheme, there will be one mark for each correct answer and a deduction of 0.33 marks for the wrong answer marked by the candidates.

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the application form for various exam
Step 3: Next, click on part 1 registration of UPSC ESE 2022 and fill the application form with all relevant details. After this, a unique registration number will be generated
Step 4: Use the registration number and date of birth to fill the part 2 registration form with major details asked upload scanned copies of the candidate’s photograph, signature, id proof,
Step 5: Proceed to fill the UPSC ESE application fee using any online payment channel and save a copy of the application form
The UPSC ESE 2022 application fee admissible to candidates of the unreserved category is INR 200 whereas it is nil for reserved category students.
