Once the online registration process is over on April 19, 2021, KVS will release provisional select & waiting list of eligible candidates for Class 1 admission.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan has declared the schedule of events for admissions 2021-2022 session. The autonomous body has declared the important dates for registration and publication of select lists on the official website kvsangathan.nic.in. Along with the schedule, complete guidelines for admissions 2021-2022 has also been published by KVS online. Online registrations for admission to Class I is scheduled to start from April 01, 2021. In this context, complete set of instruction for applying online for Class I admissions has been provided online at the official website.

The last date to register online for Class I admissions in 2021-2022 session is April 19, 2021. Following the closure of the online registration window, the KVS will release the first provisional select & waitlist on April 23, 2021. If there are vacant seats remaining after the first provisional list is exhausted, then KVS will release the second & third provisional select & waitlist of eligible candidates.

For admission to Class II and onward (except Class XI), offline registration process will start on April 08, 2021. This process will continue till April 15, 2021. The select & waitlist of eligible candidates will be declared on April 19, 2021 while admissions will be conducted from April 20 to 27, 2021.

Aspiring candidates (and especially their parents) are advised to open the official website kvsonlineadmission.kvs.gov.in for the complete instructions for online registration for Class I admissions in 2021-2022 session. Documents such as scanned photograph, scanned image of birth certificate of the candidate, other relevant category certificate, parent’s service details, valid email ID and valid mobile number must be ready before proceeding to register online for Class 1 admissions.

At first, parents are advised to register online at the website. Upon successful registration, a Login Code is generated. One must note down this code as it will be required in subsequent stages for logging in to the website. Using the code, parents are advised to log in and fill up the application form for admission to Class I in the 2021-2022 session. It may be noted that there is flexibility to choose upto three preferred KVS schools in the online application form.

Once the online application is submitted, an Application Submission Code is generated. Alongside, the list of documents to be furnished at the school at the time of admission is also displayed. Candidates are advised to note down all the important information including the Login Code, Application Submission Code and Documents List.

It may be noted that for admission to Class I to VIII in KVS schools, there is no need for a school transfer certificate. Candidates who are otherwise eligible and have a valid government issued birth date proof can get admission. For admission to Class IX, an admission test is conducted which is based on the subjects of Hindi, English, Mathematics, Science & Social Science.
