KVPY 2021 Result Aptitude Test Marks Announced at kvpy.iisc.ernet.in; Know How To Check at Login

Dept. of Science and Technology has released KVPY 2020 Fellowship marks online at kvpy.iisc.ernet.in via login.

The Department of Science and Technology, Government of India has released the KVPY 2021 Aptitude Test Marks. Aspirants who appeared for the Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) Aptitude Test can check their marks obtained by logging into kvpy.iisc.ernet.in website. The result for the KVPY 2020 Fellowship Award Result was announced on March 16, 2021.

To check KVPY 2020 Marks, aspirants have to log in to the official website i.e. kvpy.iisc.ernet.in. They will get the direct link to check the KVPY-2020 Aptitude Test Marks on the homepage. Now, enter the application number and date of birth to log in. Thereafter, aspirants can check the marks secured in the Aptitude Test.

Recently the conducting body has also released the KVPY Result 2020 online. Aspirants who have not checked their results yet can access the direct link from kvpy.iisc.ernet.in. As the result is announced in merit list format, students are not required to log in. They can directly check their All Indian Rank (AIR) from the merit list. For each stream and category, a separate merit list is prepared and published on the website.

Shortlisting of students for the Fellowship Award is based on the cut-off marks released by IISc. To qualify for Stream SA, students have to obtain a minimum of 52% marks for the General category and 40% marks for the SC/ ST/ PWD category. Similarly, for Stream SX, candidates have to obtain a minimum of 52% marks (40% for the SC/ ST and PWD) in the aptitude test. For Stream-SB, students have to obtain a minimum of 47% marks for the General category and 35% marks for the SC/ ST and PWD category.

The selection for the KVPY 2020 is based on the Aptitude Test and Interview. However, the Department of Science and Technology will not conduct an interview this year. In the notification released on the website, candidates will be awarded KVPY Fellowship solely on the basis of the Aptitude Test. No Interview will take place for the year 2020 due to the unruly COVID-19 cases. A snapshot of the declaration regarding no interview announcement is also given below.

KVPY 2020 Interview Cancelled

Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY)  is an ongoing National Program of Fellowship that is funded by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India. The Department conducts an aptitude test and interviews to shortlist highly motivated students to pursue basic science courses and research career in science. Only those student who are in Class 11th, Class 12th or 1st year of the Undergraduate Program can participate in KVPY Fellowship.
