Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) has started the Kerala Management Aptitude Test (KMAT) 2019 Registration for the June Session. Candidates who have missed the February session or want to improve their scores can apply for KMAT Kerala 2019 at kmatkerala.in. The application window is open until May 31, 2019 (04:00 PM).
The exam conducting body has also notified the KMAT Kerala June Exam Date. The paper will take place on June 16, 2019, in multiple districts in Kerala. The application fee is Rs 750/- for SC/ST students candidates and Rs 1000/- for the rest of the applicants. The fees need to be paid online via credit card, debit card or net banking.
Before applying for KMAT Kerala 2019 June session, candidates must fulfill the eligibility criteria as laid by CUSAT. Thus, an applicant must be a graduate with a minimum of 50% aggregate. For the SC/ST, the minimum qualifying marks are 40%. Students in the final year of graduation can also apply for the pen and paper based examination.
The application form for KMAT Kerala 2019 is a five-step process. First, students have to register for the exam with the valid details like email, name, date of birth etc. Next, access the application form using the login credentials. In there, students need to fill details like contact number, communication address, qualifying degree, etc. Check all the details and proceed to pay the application fee.
Once the fee is paid, candidates must take a print out of the fee confirmation page for future reference. In the penultimate step, upload the photograph & signature and choose the exam centre in order of the preference. In the last step, keep a copy of the successfully submitted application form.
After the completion of the application process, CUSAT will issue the admit card 13-14 days before the date of examination. It can be accessed at the candidates’ login using application number and password. In order to prepare for the examination, it is important that candidates must plan their studies according to the exam pattern of the KMAT Kerala.
The paper will conduct in pen and paper-based modes in the English Language only. The exam has four sections with 40 questions each in Data Sufficiency & Logical Reasoning, General Knowledge & Contemporary Business Scenario and 50 questions each in English Language Usage & Reading Comprehension, Quantitative Aptitude. Each question carries a weight-age of four marks. Also, there is a negative marking of 1 mark for each incorrect answer.
