KIOCL Limited, formerly known as Kudremukh Iron Ore Company Limited, is recruiting eligible candidates for the post of Graduate Engineer Trainee. The conducting body has released 25 posts under Mechanical/Metallurgical, Electrical/Electrical & Electronics, Electronics & Communications/Instrumentation & Control, Electronics & Communication/Computer Science and Mining disciplines. The online application procedure for KIOCL Graduate Engineer Trainee commences from July 06, 2020, onwards. The candidate who fulfils the eligibility norms can submit their forms on or before the last date i.e July 31, 2020. The last date to submit the application form along with the requisite documents is August 10, 2020. The notification with Advt.No.HR/02/637 can be downloaded from kioclltd.in.
Candidates age must not exceed the specified upper age limit which is 27 years as on May 31, 2020. The maximum age limit is relaxed for the reserved category such as 05 years for SC/ST category, 03 years for OBC (Non-Creamy). The age relaxation for General Person with Disability is 05 years, OBC PH candidates are 08 years and 10 years for SC/ST PH category. Candidates who have an Engineering degree in relevant discipline from a recognized university can apply for Graduate Engineer Trainee. They must have secured 75% marks or 7.9 CGPA (65% marks/6.8 CGPA for SC/ST/OBC) in aggregate all the semesters of their engineering degree.
Those who have appeared in the GATE examination in 2019 or 2020 and is fulfilling the eligibility norms can submit their forms online. The online application form link is available on the website, kioclltd.in/career. The application fee of Rs.1000/- can only be paid through Demand Draft drawn in favour of “KIOCL Limited” payable at Bengaluru. Candidates of SC/ST/PWD categories are exempted from the fee submission. After applying online, candidates have to submit the filled-in application form along with self-attested copies of documents to the Joint General Manager(HR&A), HR Department, KIOCL Limited, Koramangala 2nd Block, Sarjapura Road, Bengaluru 560034. Aspirants must write the application number, name of the post and discipline and system generated application number on the envelope. Candidates have to send documents in support to the age, educational qualifications, GATE result sheet, and other certificates as mentioned in the application form.
The selection of candidates for Graduate Engineer Trainee is based on the GATE Rank/Score and personal interview. Candidates have to make sure that they apply for the same discipline as that of their GATE exam. The date and time for the interview are intimated to the candidates through the registered email address. To the interview, candidates have to carry educational qualification certificates, GATE 2019 or 2020 score sheet downloaded from the GATE website.
