Kalinga Institute of Information Technology(KIIT) has released the results of the Phase 1 entrance examination today on February 11, 2022, on its official website. The Phase 1 entrance examination was conducted from February 4 to 6. The candidates who have appeared for the examination can download their results from the official website of KIIT kiitee.kiit.ac.in. The examination is held in 4 phases and the Phase 2 of the examination will be conducted on April 14, 15, and 16, 2022. The exams will be held in a remote online proctored mode followed by a counseling session after all the results have been published.

To view and download the Phase 1 results follow the below steps:
Step 1: Visit the official website of KIIT kiitee.kiit.ac.in
Step 2: On the homepage, click on the link KIITEE 2022(Phase 1) result.
Step 3: In the candidate login, enter the application number and date of birth.
Step 4: Click continue and the result will appear on the screen.

The result contains details like name, roll number, scores in each subject, total score, and the result status. Candidates must ensure that the details mentioned in the result are correct as it contains essential details. For every correct answer, the candidate is awarded 4 marks and there will be a negative marking of 1 for every incorrect answer. The cutoff marks are based on the total number of candidates who appeared in the examination and the difficulty level of the paper as against the total number of seats available.
The Phase 2 examination is scheduled to be held from April 14 to 16, 2022. As different from previous years, candidates who have appeared for the Phase 1 and Phase 2 examinations are eligible to appear for the Phase 3 and Phase 4 examinations without again applying for the same. The exam contains 150 MCQs from various sections such as English, General Knowledge, Analytical Reasoning, Quantitative aptitude, and other issues of social concern for a total of 450 marks.
Candidates will also get reservation benefits based on their category. Those from SC get 15%, ST 7.5%, Physically Challenged 3%, and women 30% reservation on the seats allotted in various courses.
