Department of Higher Secondary Education (DHSE), Kerala is scheduled to announce the Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) or Class 10 board exam results today, July 14, 2021, at 2:00 pm. Class 10 results for the academic year 2020-21 shall be published on the official website keralapareekshabhavan.in. Apart from this, students can also check their board exam results on other websites like sslcexam.kerala.gov.in, results.kite.results.gov.in, results.kerala.nic.in, prd.kerala.gov.in and keralaresults.nic.in. Results are also expected to be published on various third-party private portals as well. Hence, students are advised to keep a track of these websites for important result updates.
To check their results, candidates must visit the official website of Kerala Pareeksha Bhawan i.e., keralapareekshabhavan.in. Thereafter, they must click on the “DHSE SSLC Class 10 result tab”. In this tab, candidates have to enter their login credentials like roll number and date of birth. This roll number must be the same as mentioned in the Kerala SSLC 2021 Admit Card. After entering the credentials, candidates must submit them to access their results.
The Class 10 result sheet or marksheet is an important document which shall be useful for all future admissions and formalities. Thus, candidates are advised to download or take a printout of their results for future use. Candidates must also note these the Kerala SSLC 2021 results are based on the extensive evaluation process conducted by the DHSE authorities from June 07, 2021.
While the SSLC theory exams were successfully conducted in the state, the practical exams were cancelled due to the spike in coronavirus cases. Even the IT practical exams were not conducted for students this year. According to reports, a total of 4,22,226 regular candidates and 990 private students appeared for the SSLC exams conducted this year. Fully vaccinated teachers were assigned to evaluate and assess these students.
Last year, approximately 4.22 lakh students had appeared for the Kerala SSLC or Class 10 board exams. Of the students who gave the board exams, 98.82 per cent students successfully passed those exams, making it the highest passing percentage in the last 5 years. Of the total students who passed the exam, 41,906 students had acquired A+ grade in their exams which implies that they had achieved between 90 and 100%.
As per government reports, a total of 1,837 schools within the state achieved 100% result i.e., all student from these schools passed the Class 10 exams. 637 of these schools were affiliated with the state government. A similar result or better is expected to come out this year. However, the passing percentage can only be determined once the results are out at 2:00 pm today.
