Kerala Public Service Commission has successfully conducted the OMR based exam for recruitment of Junior Instructor Instrument Mechanic today, from 7:30 am to 9:15 am. It was a 1 hour 15 minutes long exam with multiple choice questions based on the qualification required for the exam.
The commission is expected to release the Junior Instructor Instrument Mechanic answer key today, at keralapsc.gov.in. candidates will be able to download it directly from the page keralapsc.gov.in/answerkey_omrexams which is the page dedicated on the official website for all OMR exam answer keys.
Answer keys that are released today will be provisional in nature. In other words, it will be the first version, to which, candidates can submit objection in the given window.
All objections against Kerala PSC OMR exams answer keys should be submitted in online mode through the OTR profile, within 5 days of publication of the provisional answer key. OTR profile refers to the one time registration profile which candidates can access at thulasi.psc.kerala.gov.in/thulasi/.
Candidates will need to login at thulasi.psc.kerala.gov.in/thulasi/ with their user ID and password. Those who have forgotten their login credentials can either use the forgot password link given on the website, or follow the instructions to get them via sms.
Kerala PSC publishes question papers and answer keys of the exams that it conducts, usually on the very same day. For example recently the Sales Assistant Grade 2 exam was held for recruitment to 13 vacancies in Kerala State Co Operative Coir Marketing Federation Ltd, on November 26, 2019, and both question papers and answer keys were published at keralapsc.gov.in/answerkey_omrexams on the very same day. However at times, answer keys are published on the next day.
Junior Instructor Instrument Mechanic recruitment 2018-2019 is for 1 vacancy in Industrial Training Department in the Kerala Government Service. The post is eligible for scale of pay Rs 26,500 – Rs 56,700.
Candidates aged 19 to 44 years, with SSLC qualification, and either National Trade Certificate in the appropriate trade with 3 years experience in the trade after obtaining the certificate, or National Apprenticeship Certificate in the appropriate trade with 1 year experience after obtaining the certificate, or Diploma in appropriate branch of Engineering, were invited to apply.
Those who had applied and submitted their confirmation on or before September 11, 2019 were issued admit card through one time registration profile from November 15, 2019.
After releasing provisional answer key, and accepting challenges against it, Kerala PSC will compile a final answer key and evaluate marks of candidates as per it. On basis of that, Junior Instructor Instrument Mechanic result will be announced.
