Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited (UPPCL) has released the answer key of Junior Engineer recruitment exam today, on November 28, 2019. The exam was held on November 25 and 27, 2019, with two shifts on each day.
Even though the corporation has not made any separate announcement about releasing the UPPCL JE answer key 2019, candidates discovered that they are able to download answer keys from the same login that they downloaded admit card from.
The direct link to login to download the answer key of UPPCL JE 2019 is digialm.com//EForms/loginAction.do?subAction=ViewLoginPage&orgId=782&formId=62872. Here, candidates have to enter user IDs and passwords in order to login.
On the same page, there is a link titled forgot password, where, one can enter user ID to reset password if that has been forgotten.
After logging in, candidates will see “Hall Ticket” section. There they can see a search field, below which runs the text “No LAN Based Assessments”. Below that is an icon, which may be faintly visible. Clicking it opens up the question paper with answer key.
UPPCL has not published any notification in this regard. It was through social media announcements by candidates only, who had recently logged in to the admit card download link, that everyone got to know that answer key is out. All official updates of UPPCL are released at uppcl.org, under vacancy/results section.
As per reports many candidates are still confused by the process as they are unable to see any specific icon or link after logging in. However, several others have not only confirmed that answer key is available, they have also shared screenshots and made videos of the process.
Usually UPPCL keeps answer key view active for 3 days only. Hence it is expected that notification about how to submit objections and related details will be made available officially soon enough.
With answer keys available, the countdown for results has begun. Also, candidates can now predict their scores using the answer key and marking scheme, and they are asking around for expected cut offs. The exam having been a computer based test in multiple shifts, predictions for cut offs are hazy at best.
UPPCL JE Electrical recruitment 2019 was advertised vide advt. No. 03/VSA/2019/JE for a total of 296 vacancies. There are 121 vacancies for unreserved category candidates, 29 for EWS, 79 for OBC, 62 for SC, and 5 for ST. Application forms were accepted from September 23 to October 16, 2019. Admit card for the exam was released in the second week of November.
The position is in pay matrix level 7, Rs 44,900. Exam conducted for the recruitment was of 3 hours, with 150 questions on diploma level engineering branch syllabus, 20 on general knowledge / awareness, 20 questions on reasoning, and 10 questions on general hindi.
For every correct answer as per the final answer key, candidates will get 1 mark, and negative marking of 0.25 shall apply for incorrect answers. Those who get less than 30% will be rejected for the process.
