Recently, Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) has released the second list of provisionally selected candidates, on its official website, kvsangathan.nic.in. Candidates can visit the official website for the same purpose and can look for the list in a PDF file format. As, it will be a huge list, a candidate can search for their name, with the help of “Control and F” keys.
Previously, KVS had released its first Class 1 Admission list on March 26, 2019. Back then, it was said the authorities will release a list no. 2, in case of any vacant seats.The same reason shall also apply, in case of further release of provisionally selected candidates. Also, it is said that list no. 3 releases on April 23, 2019. KVS prepares the admission list on the basis of reservation and seats availability.
After the first lottery based admission list was released for Class 1 students, there were 07 seats for SC candidates, 06 seats for ST candidates and 02 seats for PH candidates, fully vacant. Over the second admission list, authorities have allotted applicants a seat in the KV 39 GTC VARANASI CANTT. of Varanasi region. Selected candidates are then asked to appear for an interview round, as and when asked to appear.
Over the admission list, a candidate finds some details mentioned, like roll number, name, date of birth, category, PH, interview date and venue. The authorities of Kendriya Vidyalaya has designed a separate selection process for Class 1, Class 2 to 8 and Class 9 candidates. For Class 1, 15% of seats are reserved for SC category candidates, whereas 7.5% of seats for ST category candidates.
In case of deficit in the number of SC and ST candidates, a consideration is made on which all candidates are to be admitted under RTE quota. Generally, these seats are filled either by lottery system (in the first phase) or by prioritising the reservation policy (in the second phase).
Kendriya Vidyalaya were started with the purpose to serve the educational needs for the wards of transferable government job employees. Candidates living in remote areas of the country are even eligible to take admission in this common education programme. Around 1 lakh of seats are offered across 1137 Kendriya Vidyalaya in India.
The registration for various classes needs to be done in online mode only. This year, a total number of 6,48,941 candidates had submitted their applications before March 19, 2019. The age of Class 1 applicant of KV should fall between 5-7 years, as on March 31, 2019.
