The engineering entrance exam of Kerala that is commonly known as KEAM is being held on April 22 and 23, 2019. KEAM 2019 Exam Dates were declared recently by the conducting body Commissioner of Entrance Examination (CEE) on December 26, 2018. The declaration was made on the KEAM 2019 Official Website cee.kerala.gov.in, via an official notice.
As per the notice of KEAM 2019, there will be 2 papers – Paper 1 (Physics and Chemistry) and Paper 2 (Mathematics). Both the paper will be conducted in 2 different days. On the first day, the paper 1 will be conducted from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM and on the second day, Paper 2 will be conducted from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM.

It is expected that CEE will release the application form and the KEAM 2019 candidate login will be live in the first week of February 2019. As soon as the candidate login is live, the application form will have to be filled and submitted in the online mode itself. Every year around 2 lakh candidates appear for the KEAM examination for admission in the state of Kerela.
Via the official notice, it has been also declared that the KEAM 2019 exam will be held in 14 district centres in Kerala and in Mumbai. Apart from that, the KEAM 2019 exam will be held in the state of New Delhi. The entrance exam will be also conducted overseas in Dubai.
To apply for the KEAM 2019 exam, candidates must have completed 17 years of age as on December 31, 2019. However, there is no upper limit to apply for the KEAM 2019 exam. Also to apply for the KEAM 2019 exam candidates must have minimum marks of 50% in 10+2 level. This 50% marks, however, are distributed as 50% marks in Mathematics separately, and 50 % marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together.
KEAM 2019 will be a pen and paper based exam with all MCQ type questions. Both in paper 1 and paper 2 there will be 120 questions each. Each correct answer carries 4 marks and there is a negative marking of 1 marks for each wrong response. The candidates will get 150 minutes to attempt all the 120 questions.
Qualifying the KEAM 2019 exam will lead to admission in Bachelor of Technology (including all the courses), B.Tech. (Agricultural Engineering), B.Tech. (Food Engineering & Technology), B.Tech. (Dairy Technology) and B.Tech. (Food Technology) in various colleges in the state of Kerela.
About KEAM 2019 Exam: The Commissioner of Entrance Examination (CEE) conducts the Kerala Engineering Entrance Examination every year in offline mode admission in various engineering courses. apart from that on the basis of KEAM 2019 admission will be also granted in Architecture, MBBS, BDS, Ayurveda, Homoeopathy, Siddha, Unani, etc courses. Admission is based on KEAM 2019 scores and a counselling process followed by it.
