Tata Institute of Social Science has released the demo link and few sample questions on the official website at admission.tiss.edu. Candidates who have applied for TISSNET 2019 can take the mock for the practice of the exam. Students can take the demo test until the examination day. For the academic year 2019-21, the TISSNET examination is scheduled to conduct on January 13, 2019 (02:00 PM – 03:40 PM). The computer-based test will be held in 39 cities all over India.

TISSNET is the entrance examination for admission to any of the 53 post-graduate courses offered by TISS. Candidates can apply for a maximum of three programmes only. Moreover, students who have applied for one or more courses will attempt only one single question paper. It is also applicable to students who have chosen M.A in Human Resource Management in combination with other programmes.
The TISSNET question paper will consist of 100 multiple choice questions that need to be attempted in 1 Hour 40 Minutes. TISSNET is one of the examinations that does not have negative marking. For each incorrect, there is weight-age of 1 mark. The exam will have 30, 40 and 30 questions from English Proficiency, General Awareness, and Mathematics & Logical Reasoning section respectively.
Candidates can also check the important topics of the exam on the official website. The English Proficiency section tests the English language comprehension and usage. The important topics include sentence correction, synonyms/ antonyms, verbal reasoning, odd one out, analogies, grammar, reading comprehension etc.
In the Mathematics & Logical Reasoning, candidates must prepare upto class 10 standard. The questions will test the quantitative skills of an aspirant. The important topics in this section are basic geometry, arithmetic, trigonometry, statistics, number series, data interpretation, logical reasoning etc.
Following the same pattern, the general awareness section will test students’ awareness of current affairs and understanding of social issues. The important topics to prepare are social studies, politics, science & technology, environment, sports, Indian History, Art & culture etc. It is important to score good marks in this section in order to clear the cut-off.
The admit card for the exam has been delayed by two days. Candidates can now download the hall tickets for the exam from December 28 & 29, 2018. It will be available at the official website and accessible using the login credentials ie email id and password. On the admit card, it is important to check the category and programme details.
