DTE Maharashtra releases the MBA CET 2019 Syllabus and Exam Pattern on the official website. Candidates who are planning to appear for the MMS/ MBA CET must look at the syllabus for the preparation of the exam. DTE has also announced the tentative dates for the exam. The CET for MBA is scheduled to take place on March 9 and 10, 2019.
State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra State conducts CET for graduate and postgraduate exams. MBA/ MMS CET is the gateway for admission to 329 B-schools in Maharashtra and has a total of 34971 seats (approx). Candidates can also apply via CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ ATMA scores in order to take admission via the Maharashtra Board Counselling process. The registration for the exam is expected to start from the third week of January 2019.

According to the marking scheme of MAH-MBA/ MMS CET 2019, the computer-based exam will have 200 Multiple choice questions with five option each. The test needs to be completed in 150 minutes. The paper will have questions from 4 sections naming Logical Reasoning, Abstract Reasoning, Quantitative Attitude, and Verbal Ability/ Reading comprehension.
There is no negative marking in MBA/ MMS CET 2019 Exam.
The syllabus does not include the detailed topics of each section. However, there are guidelines mentioned about the type of questions that could be asked in the exam. For the comprehensive syllabus, candidates can also refer to the sample papers or mock papers, in order to check the type of questions that could appear in the examination.
According to the notice, Logical or Abstract Reasoning section test how a students can easily and quickly understand a given problem. Accuracy and agility will be the core qualities needed for this section. In this part of the exam, questions may be based on figures, diagrams, and verbal reasoning.
In the Quantitative Ability section, a candidate must prepare arithmetic problems based on ratio & proportion, percentages etc. This section will test students on the basis of accuracy, speed, quantitative reasoning, common graphs, interpretation of tables, and charts.
Similarly, English Language section consists of questions based grammar, vocabulary, comprehension, etc. This section overall tests knowledge and understanding of the language. Also, the usage of language on the basis of words, phrases, expression, and similar language skills.
As the MHT CET is going to conduct soon, candidates must keep checking the official website in order to track the latest events. The notification for registration process will also upload in coming days. The application process will be completely online and the admit card will also release in online mode.
