KEA (Karnataka Examinations Authority) has released the KCET 2021 result today on the official website, karresults.nic.in. The candidates who have appeared in the exam can check their marks using the registration number.
Although, the result is released, however, the candidates are confused regarding the QE marks on the rank card. QE simply means Qualifying examination marks i.e. class 12th marks, that the candidate has scored. As per the official brochure, the authorities consider the 50% marks of the QE and 50% marks in the CET to prepare the merit list.
The candidates who successfully find a place in the KCET 2021 merit list will be called to appear in the counselling round. The counselling schedule along with the registration form for the KCET is going to be announced soon. The candidates upon counselling will be eligible to get admission in engineering, agriculture, veterinary science colleges in respective disciplines.
All those who wish to appear for the KCET counselling round have to simply register themselves on the official portal. Post-registration a document verification round is conducted at the end of which a secret key is been provided to the candidates. Then the candidates have to use the same and register themselves for choice filling. In the end, the candidates are assigned colleges on the basis of rank in the KCET exam and college preferred during the choice filling round.
