School Education of Karnataka has released the admit card for Karnataka Teacher Eligibility Test 2018 at schooleducation.kar.nic.in on January 24, 2019. The admit card has been released for the examination to be held on February 03, 2019. The candidates who have enrolled their names for examination can download the admit card by entering the vital parameters, application number, and captcha.
The KARTET examination will be held in two shifts, the paper I will hold from 09:30 AM to 12 Noon and the paper II will be held from 02:00 PM to 04:30 PM. The candidates have to reach the examination center along with the admit card at reporting time. The reporting time for the paper I am 09:00 AM in the morning, and for paper II the reporting time has been put 01:30 PM.
The recruiting authority has directed to the candidates to carry one valid photo id card, issued by Indian Government. Candidates can carry anyone of voter id card, Aadhaar Card, PAN card, passport, Driving License, Bank passbook etc. Those who will not carry the id card will not be allowed to write the exam.
In case any candidates find any incorrect details of the photo is not printed properly then, he/she can immediately contact to Centralised Admission Cell, Bangalore to resolve their problem. An erroneous admit card can cause candidature cancellation. While contacting the candidates should have the admit card and the downloaded and print copy of application form. Without these documents, no query will be solved.
The candidates have to solve the exam in the duration of 02 hours 30 minutes. The question paper of KARTET will be in English, Kannada, Urdu, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Marathi languages. The question in the paper I will be asked from Child Development and Pedagogy, Mathematics, Environmental Studies, and language papers. In paper II the candidates have to answer the question form the following topics child Development and Pedagogy, Language I and II, Maths & Science only for maths teacher, Social Studies/Social Science only for social studies teacher.
After the examination, the answer key for each subject will be released on the official website. The candidates appeared in the exam will be able to check the answer key. On the basis of the final answer key, the result will be compiled.
The recruitment authority has provided the qualifying criteria, those who will score more than or equal to 60% will be treated as qualified. However, the candidates belonging to the SC / ST/ C-I, differently abled persons, have to obtain a minimum of 55% marks.
