About the Karnataka SSLC 2026 Exam
The Karnataka SSLC Exam 2026 was conducted by KSEAB from March 18 to April 2, 2026. Over 8.65 lakh students registered for the examination this year. Exams were held from 10:00 AM to 1:15 PM in a single shift each day.
Important Note: Third Language Marks vs Grades
As per a Karnataka High Court directive, students received marks (not grades) for the third language in SSLC 2026. The court clarified that any change to grading for the third language can only be implemented from the next academic year, in accordance with the law.
Karnataka SSLC Supplementary Exam 2026
Students who have not qualified in one or more subjects will get an opportunity to appear in the Karnataka SSLC Supplementary Exam 2026, which is expected to be notified soon by KSEAB. The supplementary exam timetable is likely to be announced shortly. Students need not lose an academic year due to this provision.
