The Jammu and Kashmir State Board of School Education has revised the exam dates again on February 27, 2019. Due to the stressful condition in the state, the JKBOSE has postponed the exams of class 8, 9, 10 and class 12. As per the decision taken in the meeting of Prof. Veena Pandita, the board has also released the notification. According to the notice, the exams class 10 and class 12 which were scheduled on March 02 and March 01, 2019 have been postponed. However, the new exam dates have not been disclosed. It will be notified soon.
So, now, the exams of Social Science (class 10) and Computer Science/ Informatics Practices/ Environmental Science/ Functional English/ Physical Education/ Islamic Studies/ Vedic Studies/ Buddhist Studies/ Electronics (class 12) will not be conducted on the specified date on the date sheet. It will be held later. The rest of the exams of the secondary and senior secondary will be conducted on the dates available on the date sheet.
On the other hand, the exams which were scheduled on today i.e. February 28, 2019, have been canceled. The new dates for these exams will be notified later. The rest of the exams will be held on the previously specified dates.
A few days ago, the board postponed the exams of class 12. The exams planned on February 23 and 26, 2019 had been rescheduled. Then it was decided that the exams of Geography/ Psychology/ Geography/ Music/ Philosophy/ Education/ Clothing for the Family and General English will be held on other dates. The exams which were earlier about to be conducted on February 23 will now be held on March 25, 2019. The exam of General English will be held on February 22, 2019.
Then on February 26, 2019, the board issued the revised date sheet. But again the exam dates have been postponed. So, as per the schedule, the exams of class 10 began from February 27, 2019. It was for Additional/ Optional subjects. The next exam is on March 06, 2019 for English. The last date of the exams is March 19, 2019, and it will be held for Vocational (Health Care/ Retail/ Tourism/ Information Technology/ Security/ Agriculture/ Beauty Wellness/ Media and Entertainment/ Physical Education and Sports.
For class 12, the exams will be held from March 05, 2019. The first exams are for Biology (Botany & Zoology) Statistics/ Political Science Statistics/ Business Studies while the last exam is for General English. The last date of the exams is March 25, 2019.
