The Jammu and Kashmir State Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has released the board exam result on April 26, 2018. Until now you all must have checked your JKBOSE 12th results. This year, the students passed the exams with flying colors especially Japleen Kaur who has topped the Board exam.
As In total, 54 students, including 25 boys and 29 girls have achieved the first 30 position in JKBOSE 12th exams. As such 10 positions clinched each in Science, Arts, and commerce.
This year, a total of 37,858 candidates appeared in the examination and 20,646 qualified the exams. The overall pass percentage stood at 55 percent, including 59 percent girls and 50 percent boys.
Not all the rest of the students have failed in the exam, around 14,572 will reappear in one or more subjects. Around 2,460 students failed in the examination this year.
In Science stream, 15 boys and 11 girls, shared the top 10 positions. Jaspleen kour clinched the first position in science stream by obtaining 98.2% marks. She comes from Government Higher Secondary School, Shastri Nagar.
In the list of toppers then comes Aryan Gupta of SP Higher Secondary School, Exchange Road, he has scored 97.6%. While Anshika Aggarwal of Aryan Public Senior Secondary School, RS Pura bagged the third position with 97.4% marks.
In Arts stream, 13 girls and 3 boys, shared the top ten positions. Janvi Gupta of Shiksha Niketan Higher Secondary School, Jeevan Nagar, bagged the first position with 97.3 % marks. Gagan Parihar of Vijay Higher Secondary School, Udhampur achieved the second position with 97%.The third position was achieved by Shagun Mahajan of SP Higher Secondary School, Exchange Road, with 96.6% marks.
In Commerce stream, 7 boys and 5 girls, shared the top 10 positions. Shubam Gupta cliched the first position in commerce stream by securing 97.4%. Karan Raj Gupta and Mohd Eteeq achieved the second and third position with 96.2 % and 95.8 % marks respectively. They have done their schooling from SP Higher Secondary School, Exchange Road.
In Home science, all the girls of Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Mubarak Mandi, achieved the top six positions. Ananya Khajuria secured 92.6 % marks while Mahwish Jain secured 81.4 % marks.
In the examination, 87 candidates were absent while 2,469 disputed eligibility case appeared during the exam.
It is a great moment that lots of students of students have cleared the exam with good scores. Their hard work has really paid off. Moreover, girls have outshines boys with such an amazing performance.
