Girls of Jammu has proven their dreams has no limits by secured the first position in three out of four discipline of 12th class and leaving the boys far behind in the race called education. The result of JKBOSE 12th was released by Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) on April 25, 2018, Wednesday.
Out of 60 position girls secured 35 in four discipline, which are Science, Arts, Commerce, Home Science. The toppers of JKBOSE 12th are from Private schools. Out of 60 positions, the private school holds 44 and the government schools hold 16, despite having highly qualified staff.
In Science Stream, the first position has been secured by Japleen Kour, of Government Girls Higher Secondary School (GGHSS) with 491 marks, adding upto a percentage of 98.2 %. The marks claimed by Japleen Kour in 12th class in General English is 98 marks, in Physics it is 100 marks, in Chemistry she got 98 marks, and in Biology she has secured 97 marks. She even excelled in Environmental Science with 98 marks.
Aryan Gupta of SP Higher Secondary School, Exchange Road, Jammu secured the second position with 488 marks (97.6 %). The marks scored by Aryan Gupta subject wise in General English, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physical Education is 98, 95, 98, 99 marks, and 98 marks.
The third position was together shared by Anshika Aggarwal of Aryan Public Senior Secondary School, R S Pura, Gourab Sawhney of Government Boys Higher Secondary School, Udhampur, Manik Verma of Oriental Academy and Umang Kalra of Nehru Memorial Higher Secondary School, Udhampur. They have secured 487 marks (97.4 percent) each.
In Commerce Stream, the topper is Shubam Gupta of S.P Higher Secondary School, Exchange Road, Jammu with 487 marks (97.4 %). The marks scored subject wise are General English(98 marks), Business Studies(98 marks), Accountancy(96 marks), Economics(98 marks), Physical Education(97 marks).
The second place has been grabbed by Karan Raj Gupta of S.P Higher Secondary School, Exchange Road, Jammu with 481 marks (96.2 %). The subject wise marks of Karan Raj is General Science 91 marks, Business Studies 98 marks, Accountancy 97 marks, Economics 98 marks and Physical Education 97 marks.
The third position is secured by Mohd Eteeq of S.P Higher Secondary School, Exchange Road, Jammu with 479 (95.8 %) marks and subject wise score are as following General Science 92 marks, Business Studies 98 marks, Accountancy 94 marks, Economics 98 marks and Physical Education 97 marks.
In Arts Stream, the first position is secured by Janvi Gupta of Shiksha Niketan Higher Secondary School, Jeevan Nagar, Jammu with 489 (97.8 %) marks and the marks secured subject wise are General English 98 marks, Political Science 98 marks, Education 98 marks, Economics 97marks and Physical Education 97 marks.
Gagan Parihar of Vijay Higher Secondary School, Udhampur, and Riya Kumari, Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Nowabad with 485 (97 %) marks shared the second the position.
The third position is secured by Shagun Mahajan of SP Higher Secondary School, Exchange Road, Jammu with 483 (96.6 %) marks.
In Home Science Stream, Ananya Khajuria secured the first position with 463 marks (92.6 %). The marks obtained subject-wise by Ananya are General Science 91 marks, Human Development 88 marks, Clothing for the Family 93 marks, Extension Education 94 marks and Computer Science 97 marks.
The second position was held by Mahwish Jain with 407 marks (81.4%). The marks secured subject-wise by Mahwish are General English 82 marks, Human Development 85 marks, Clothing for Family 87 marks, Extension Education 86 marks and Functional English 67 marks.
Nehal Pandotra secured the third position with 380 marks ( 76%). The marks of Nehal are General English 75 marks, Human Development 83 marks, Clothing for the Family 85 marks, Extension Education 74 marks, Informatics Practices 63 marks respectively.
The total 55 percent of students passed the JKBOSE 2018 12th exam. First 10 position in science stream is shared by 26 students out of which 11 are the girl. The commerce stream 1st 10 position is secured by 12 students out of which five are girls. 16 students out of which 13 are girls from Arts shared the first 10 position and six girls share the first six position.
