The Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board has released the notification for the B.Ed Combined Entrance Test 2022 for admission to the B.Ed courses across government/private colleges in the state. The online application will be open between April 30 and May 15, 2022. Candidates who wish the appear for the exam will be required to fill the application given on the official website – jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in. along with an application fees of INR 1000 for unreserved/general category, INR 750 for other backward classes and INR 500 for SC/ST. The exam will be in offline mode in the first week of June (tentatively) however, no official date of the examination has been released yet.

Step 3: Click the link that reads ‘B.Ed Combined Entrance Competitive Test’.
Step 4: Proceed to open the application form, and fill in your credentials.
Step 5: Finish the application after paying the application fees.

Eligibility Criteria
Candidate with at least 50% marks either in Bachelor’s Degree and /or in Master’s Degree in Science, Social Science, Humanities, or Commerce. The candidate will have to choose only one subject (within a subject category) which she/he must have studied in the qualifying degree, i.e., Bachelor’s or Master’s degree for at least 200 marks and out of which obtained at least 50% in that subject. There is no restriction in the passing year to apply for B.Ed. course.
Question Paper Pattern
The examination will consist of 100 objective-type (MCQ’s) questions, and three sections – Language Proficiency (English/Hindi), Teaching Aptitude, and Reasoning Ability. Candidates will be awarded 1 mark for each correct answer and 0.25 mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer. The section-wise weightage and topics are as follows:
