National Testing Agency (NTA) will hold Joint Entrance Examination JEE (Main) 2021 day 2 today, Wednesday, February 24, 2021. In both shifts today, the exams will be for paper 1 that is for candidates who are aspiring to get admission in BE, B.Tech programs.
India’s largest engineering entrance exam, JEE Main paper 1 leads to direct admission to Undergraduate Programs in NITs, IIITs, and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs), Institutions funded by participating State Governments, and other Institutions. Besides it is also an eligibility test for JEE Advanced 2021, which is conducted for admission to undergraduate programs offered by the Indian Institute of Technology (IITs).
As per freshly released data, paper 1 is being held over 828 exam centers. A total of 287196 have applied from general category, 63400 are from general-EWS, 222054 are from OBC-NCL category, 57574 from SC, 22403 from ST, 1778 are PWD candidates. Overall 652627 are appearing in the paper 1.

NTA Concludes JEE Main 2021 Day 2 Exam
Shift 2 of JEE Main 2021 Exam of 24 Feb is now over. With this, the conducting body concludes the second day of the JEE Main Exam 2021 (February session).

JEE Main 2021 Result to Release in March 2021
NTA has already announced the result dates for the JEE Main 2021 February Session exam. The result for the first session of JEE Main 2021 will be out on March 07, 2021. Along with the result, aspirants can also check the NTA scores for the exam.
JEE Main Exam to take place four times A Year!
National Testing Agency (NTA) has doubled the number of attempts for the JEE Main Exam. Now, the JEE Main Exam will take place four times a year. Candidates can now appear for the first attempt, understand their mistakes and improve the performance in the next attempt. The first session is currently taking place which is February 2021. The next three-sessions will take place in March, April and May 2021.
More male candidates appearing for JEE Main 2021 BE/B.Tech exam than Females & Transgenders
As per the details shared by NTA, around 4.5 lakh male candidates have applied for JEE Main 2021 BE/B.Tech exam. This is around 2.5 times the number of female candidates (197771) who applied for JEE Main 2021 February exam. However, only 04 applications are received from the Transgender category.
Marking Scheme for JEE Main 2021 BE/ B.Tech Exam
Aspirants who mark the correct answer in the JEE Main 2021 MCQ and Numeric Value answer Based questions will get +4 marks for each answer. However, there is also a negative marking. For every incorrect answer, 01 marks are deducted. There is no negative marking in Numeric Value answer Based questions.
JEE Main 2021 Day 2 Shift 2 Exam Started
The examination for the second shift of JEE Main 2021 Exam has started. Candidates, after clearing the identity verification, entered the exam centre successfully.
JEE Main 2021 Shift 2 Exam Timings
The second shift for the JEE Main 2021 Examination will commence from 03:00 PM onwards. The exam is scheduled for 03 hours and will end at 06:00 PM.

JEE Main 2021 Exam experts have presented their views on the difficulty level of the exam. As per their review, the exam was no surprise as it was expected the BE/ B.Tech exam will be difficult. JEE Main 2021 Day 2 Shift 1 Exam Analysis
Students have now started sharing their experience in JEE Main 2021 24 Feb Shift 1 exam. It is reported that the examination was of moderate level. Questions were difficult to answer especially from the Mathematics section. Some candidates have stated that there were questions from deleted CBSE topics.

BE/ B.Tech JEE Main 2021 Exam Taking Place at 828 Test Centres
Similar to every year, lakhs of the candidates are appearing for the JEE Mains 2021 Exam. This year, NTA is conducting the BE/ B.Tech JEE Main 2021 Exam at 828 different test centres. Whereas, B.Arch. (Paper 2A), B.Planning (Paper 2B) and B. Arch. and B.Planning both were conducted at 437 centres across the country.
Over 6 lakh candidates applied for JEE Main 2021 First Session
As per the details shared by NTA, a total of 661776 candidates have registered ha registered for the first session of the exam. Out of these, 652627 candidates will be appearing for the B.Tech/ B.E which is the Paper 1 Exam. And, 63065 candidates have appeared for the Paper 2A and Paper 2B exam.
JEE Main 2021 Exam Taking Place in 13 different languages
National Testing Agency is conducting JEE Main 2021 Exam in 13 different languages. Under the National Education Polity (NEP), the exam will take place in Assamese, Bengali, Odia, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu along with Hindi and English.
