ISC Political Science Answer Key 2021 Released for Semester 1 Exam; Students Can Check Answer Key Here

Questions asked in Section C of the Political Exam were trickier than expected.

Council of Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE) successfully conducted the ISC Class 12 Political Science paper today, December 09, 2021. The exam was held for a duration of 1 hour and 30 minutes from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm at various affiliated schools across the country. Students were expected to attempt and complete the entire paper in the OMR-based pane and paper mode. The exam difficulty was between easy to moderate. Direct theory-based questions were framed from the prescribed syllabus. Since the exam was entirely MCQ-based, students are wondering about the answer key. So that they can calculate their results immediately instead of waiting for the result date.

ISC Political Science Semester 1 Answer Keys

Unofficial answer keys are released online soon after the examination. Due to the objective nature of the exam, various subject experts find it easy to solve and upload the answers online. While many of these educators post the video of answer key pdf, scrolling it throughout their session, others post a video explaining solutions for every answer. Students can make use of these online resources to get a rough estimate of their scores. CISCE will soon be releasing the official answer key for the ISC Political Science Semester 1 Exam 2021-22 on their official website at cisce.org. Meantime, students can take a look at the unofficial answer keys.

Students who appeared for the ISC Political exam today expressed that the questions were framed from the syllabus only and all of them were doable. A total of 45 questions were asked to be solved in 90 minutes. All questions were compulsory to attempt. Section A consisted of 20 questions for 1 mark each. Section B consisted of 20 questions for 2 marks each. These 20 questions were further divided into 2 sub-questions for 1 mark each. Section C was based on laws, wherein they had asked 4 sub-questions based on a general sentence. A total of 5 such comprehension-based questions were framed, each for 4 marks in Section C. The total marks and total weightage of the paper were 80-80 respectively. 

Applicants can save their time by pausing the video to note down answers for all the questions. Candidates are advised to visit all the links and compare the answers posted by the different channels mentioned above. As the answer keys are unofficial and are not verified by the CISCE, students are advised to refer to different answer keys simultaneously. This will help them conclude a rough score that may or may not differ from the actual score.  Calculation of scores can be done with the help of the CBSE marking scheme. According to CISCE: all questions carry equal marks and there is no negative marking.
