The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has conducted the ISC class 12 Chemistry – Paper 1 (Theory) exam today, i.e. May 13, 2022. Students had to appear for the exam for a duration of one hour and thirty minutes. As such, the exam took place from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM. With the conclusion of the exam, students seem to be in search of the answer keys and question paper solutions. For that, they have to refer to various coaching centres and subject experts. However, note that these solutions will be in the form of question paper discussions.
How to check?
Students and guardians must note that these answer keys are not the official ones but have been released by coaching centres and subject experts who hold years of experience in teaching. Hence, even if they are unofficial, one can still be benefitted in terms of analyzing their overall performance.
ISC Class 12 semester 2 Chemistry answer key is mostly available on YouTube. To access them, students need to keep a tab on the respective channels of the coaching centres and educators. Soon after going through the answer keys, students need to crosscheck the answers for calculating a tentative score. Question Paper
The questions for ISC class 12 semester 2 Chemistry exam mainly covered a total of 8 units. Moreover, the total marks of the question paper were 35. The units from which questions were asked in the exam are as follows:
- Chemical Kinetics
- Surface Chemistry
- d- and f- block elements
- Coordination Compounds
- Aldehydes, Ketones and Carboxylic Acids
- Organic Compounds containing Nitrogen
- Biomolecules
- Chemistry in Everyday Life
The question paper was divided into three sections namely A, B and C. All questions asked were compulsory to answer. Section A had questions for 7 marks while Section B covered questions for 16 marks. Similarly, Section C had questions for 12 marks. ISC exams already began on April 26 and will continue till June 13.
