Institute For Stem Cell Science & Regenerative Medicine (INSTEM), Bangalore is hiring for one vacancy of Fellow-E (Scientist-D) Head, Stem Cell Facility. The vacancy is notified through a detailed recruitment advertisement published on the official website of the Institute i.e. instem.res.in. Recruitment to the aforementioned post is done through the method of direct recruitment, failing which, the recruitment is done through deputation/absorption basis. Eligible and willing candidates can apply online at the website before the last date. The last date of submission of online applications is August 09, 2020.
As per the official notification, there are no reservation for the advertised vacancy. Eligible applicants are to be selected for appointment through personal interview. After final selection, the candidate is appointed at the Level-12 of of the Pay Matrix as per the 7th Central Pay Commission. In addition, candidates are entitled to receive additional benefits such as Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, Transport Allowance, Children Education Allowance, Leave Travel Concession, Healthcare facilities in addition to coverage under the National Pension System.
The maximum age of the applicants must not exceed 45 years for direct recruitment and 50 years for recruitment on a deputation basis. Relaxations are however applicable as per government regulations in vogue. Candidates must have a Master’s degree in Life Sciences or equivalent along with 5 years of relevant experience as specified in the detailed recruitment advertisement. For deputation candidates, they must have been holding analogous posts in the parent department on a regular basis and at least 4 years of service record in the Level-11 or equivalent pay level in the parent cadre.

This is applicable to all unreserved and OBC candidates. unreserved and OBC candidates who are living abroad with OCI status have to pay an application fee of USD 30 in order to apply.
