Indian Institute of Science (IISC) Bangalore is closing the online submission of application form on March 25, 2019 at 11:59 PM. Candidates interested in post-graduate courses offered by IISC can apply for the admissions before the last date. The IISC Application Form 2019 is available at admissions.iisc.ac.in.
The registration is open for the admission to Research Programmes, M Tech/M Des/M Mgt, Integrated Ph.D. Programmes, and Research (Ph.D. only). Candidates can apply for IISC Bangalore MBA via CAT 2018/ GATE/ GMAT scores. For M Tech, students must have cleared GATE 2017/ 2018/ 2019. For M DES, candidates must have qualified GATE or CEED 2018/2019. The validity of the scorecard of the national level exams must be August 01, 2019.
Students who are applying for any of the courses by the institute must check its detailed eligibility criteria. The main qualifiers are graduation degree and the score of the national level exams. The application fee for General/ OBC category is Rs 800/-. For the reserved category ie SC/ ST/ PwD, the fee is Rs 400/-.
Students applying via External Registration Programme (ERP) have to pay Rs 2000/- as the application fee. Whereas for the sponsored candidates from Defence, DRDO, BARC, KSRTC, BMTC, BDA, ISRO, NAL, NTRO, PWD and CPRI, the fee is Rs 800/-. Candidates have to pay the fee in online mode only to complete the application process.
In order to fill the IISC 2019 Application Form, students have to complete the five-step application procedure. First of all, registration is required with valid email id and phone number. The registration link is common for all the courses. Following that fill the application form by accessing it via the login credentials.
The IISC form is divided into four parts. Which include personal details, department preference, qualification details, and application fees. Candidates have to take the print out of the application form after the successful submission. It is required on the day of Group Discussion and Personal Interview (GDPI) round only.
On the official website of IISC, it has been mentioned that CAT 2019 are acceptable for MBA admission. However, CAT 2019 is referred to admissions 2019 and to the exam that took place on November 25, 2018. Thus, candidates have to apply via CAT 2018 scores only.
Once IISC receives all the application, then the selection process will start taking place. For some courses, there is direct admission on the basis of the cut-offs of qualifying exam score. Whereas for some M. Tech courses there is an additional written test/ interview. It will have a weight-age of 30%. For MBA courses, there is a GDPI round for a total of 15 seats.
