International Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Hyderabad has postponed the UGEE 2021 Exam. However, the fresh date for Undergraduate Entrance Exam (UGEE) is not yet announced. Moreover, the UGEE 2021 Registration is extended to June 07, 2021. Candidates who have not applied for the entrance exam now can do so online through ugadmissions.iiit.ac.in.
The examination for UGEE 2021 was expected to take place on June 02, 2021. However, due to some unmentioned reasons, IIIT Hyderabad has postponed the examination. The conducting body has also updated the same on the official website. It is speculated that the UGEE 2021 exam is postponed due to the rising number of COVID-19 cases each day. Also, several state boards have postponed the Boards examination of Senior Secondary classes because of COVID-19. One can expect the new UGEE 2021 Exam Date in due course of time.

Also, candidates can register themselves online as the last date for UGEE 2021 registration is extended. The last date for the UGEE Application Form 2021 is June 07, 2021 earlier which was May 10, 2021. To register, candidates have to visit the official website, ugadmissions.iiit.ac.in. Provide some basic information including the name, date of birth, Father’s information, Mother’s information, email ID and others. After successful registration, candidates can proceed to submit the UGEE application form. Login using the registered email address and password. Enter the basic educational qualification and other details to submit application form.
While applying, candidates also have to pay the application amounting to Rs. 2000/-. It is a non-refundable application fee which is the same for all categories. The fee can be paid using the online mode – credit card/ Debit card/ Net Banking. After the fee payment, ensure that candidates take a printout of the fee submission and submitted the application form.
With the postponement of the exam, we suggest aspirants not to put their preparations on break. They can refer to the UGEE Mock Test which is available on the official website. Also, the UGEE Sample Paper is updated by the conducting body on the website. Candidates can refer to these two resources to practise the questions. Before that, do not forget to prepare with the UGEE syllabus. According to the syllabus, there are two sections in the exam – Subject Proficiency Test (SUPR) and the Research Aptitude test (REAP). The syllabus for SUPR and REAP include 11th and 12th level of Physics, Maths, Chemistry (CBSE and most state syllabi). Candidates who clear the CBT exam have to appear for the Interview as well. The conducting body has not disclosed the UGEE 2021 Interview Dates yet.
