National Testing Agency (NTA) will declare IIFT 2020 result today, on December 11, 2019. The result will be published at iift.nta.ac.in. This is the first time that NTA conducted the entrance exam for admission to MBA IB programme for Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT).
The IIFT MBA IB entrance exam was held on December 1, 2019. After which, answer keys were released on December 3, 2019, and provision to challenge them was available until December 5, 2019. As per the official information brochure of IIFT 2020, today is the date for declaration of result.
Result being made available today will be the IIFT MBA IN 2020 NTA score, which will be on the basis of final answers compiled by the agency; final answers are modified answer key of the exam with changes as per objections received from candidates and expert inputs taken from official committee.
NTA introduced a new pattern for IIFT entrance exam this time. The paper had four sections namely verbal ability and reading comprehension, general knowledge and current affairs, data interpretation and logical reasoning, quantitative ability. These sections had 35, 20, 30, and 25 questions respectively.
Candidates are getting 3 marks for correct answer in QA, VARC, DILR sections, and 1.5 for those in GK. Negative marking is of 1 mark for incorrect answers in QA, VARC, DILR, and 0.5 for GK.

NTA IIFT 2020 is the only entrance exam for admission to IIFT for its flagship MBA IB program.
The National Testing Agency is only responsible upto the processes of exam, that is declaration of result. Counselling and thereafter processes will be as per the institute, details of which can be seen from iift.ac.in.
It is expected that NTA will only release the scorecard for IIFT 2020. Campus wise results, waitlist are anticipated to be published on the websites of IIFT.
Last year a total of 285 candidates were accepted on the basis of final results for IIFT Delhi campus and 282 for the Kolkata campus. Waitlist information was provided at a login.
In the past exams, held by IIFT itself, the scorecard consisted of section wise maximum marks, sectional cut off, marks obtained, percentile.
In IIFT 2019, the section cut offs were 2.75 in verbal ability, 3.34 in reading comprehension, 2.34 in quantitative aptitude, 2.36 in logical reasoning, 1.01 in data interpretation, and 1.14 in general awareness.
NTA or IIFT will not entertain any corrections in candidate details after declaration of IIFT results.
Decision of experts regarding the final answer key, on the basis of which the merit is calculated, shall be final and binding.
A total of 39,572 candidates had registered to appear in the exam. And 35,435 had appeared. According to reports, there are 420 seats in MBA IB, 220 in Delhi and 200 in Kolkata, that will be filled through this exam.
Last year, IIFT conducted written ability test (WAT), group discussion (GD), and personal interview (PI) for those who had cleared cut offs of the exam.
