Indian Institute of Foreign Trade is conducting the IIFT exam for the academic year 2019-21 on December 02, 2018. Candidates who have registered for the exam must download the IIFT Hall Ticket 2018 before the exam day. It is expected that around 60k students will appear for examination this year for admission to MBA in International Business programme by IIFT.
Things to Carry for IIFT Exam
On the test day, students must carry the important documents with them. So, ensure that IIFT 2019 Admit Card, Identity proof, stationery items like HB pencil, Pen, Sharpener, Eraser etc are there in the exam kit. Though it is not mentioned in the hall ticket that candidates have to fill the academic details in the OMR sheet, still remember the class 10th, 12th, and graduation percentage to avoid any hassle.
The examination for the new academic year will conduct in the year 2018 and the selection process will start at the starting of the year 2019.
IIFT EXAM INSTRUCTIONS
IIFT is an offline examination conducted in pen and paper-based mode, so candidates must not carry any prohibited items inside the exam hall. These items include electronic items, watches, calculators etc. On reaching the test center, find the exam room number on the list that will be present on the notice board. Following that proceed for the document verification and frisking process.
IIFT Exam Time – 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon
Repoting Time – 09:00 AM
No Entry Post – 10:00 AM
Then, reach the exam room and leave the prohibited items outside before entering the exam hall. Following that, sit on the seats according to the instructions by the invigilator. The exam will start exactly at 10:00 AM and for any issues ask the test administrator only.
IIFT Last Minute Tips
Since only 1 day has been left for the exam, do not take the stress and appear for the exam with full confidence. Apart from the GK section, preparation for IIFT is similar to CAT examination. In the last few hours candidates can refer to the previous year question papers for practice. For the IIFT GK, refer to the types of questions that could appear in the exam. Questions based on currency, capital, world bodies are quite common. For the quick revision of the current affairs, take mock tests and learn some important stats and figures.
In brief IIFT Exam Pattern includes 6 sections of the different marking scheme. Candidates need to clear the cutoff all the sections naming general awareness, reading comprehension, verbal ability quantitative ability, data interpretation, and logical reasoning, in order to clear the exam.

Post IIFT exam on 2nd December
Once the entrance examination is over, candidates will able to download the IIFT Answer Key 2018. With the availability of exam analysis and question paper of all sets, test takers will able to calculate the raw scores. It will also help to predict the expected cutoff for the exam this year.
The official IIFT Result Date for the academic year 2019 is not available yet. It is expected to release in the first week of January 2019. Shortlisted candidates will able to participate in the selection process that will be conducted by IIFT. The process generally includes Written Ability Test (WAT), Group Discussion, and Personal Interview (PI) rounds.
