Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences, Bihar has announced 83 vacancies to recruit eligible candidates in Medical and Non-Medical Department. An official notification in this regard with Advt no:- 08/Non-Faculty Post/ Estt./IGIMS/2020 can be downloaded from the IGIMS website, igims.org. Candidates who fulfil the eligibility criteria should submit their application form on or before October 19, 2020.
The said vacancies are filled on a Regular appointment, Deputation/ Contract basis. Vacancies on regular appointment basis are: – 27 for Nursing Officer, 23 for Junior Medical Laboratory technologist, 02 for Pharmacist Grade-II, 06 for Perfusionist Librarian Grade-III, 03 for Central Workshop Superintendent, 01 for Technician (Radiology Grade-II), 03 for Medical Record Technician, 02 for Junior Occupational therapist, 03 for Driver (Ordinary Grade), 01 for Data Entry Operators and 02 for Technician.
There are some posts that are announced on deputation/ contract basis as well. The posts that are announced are as follows – 01 for Financial Advisor, 01 for Chief Administrative Officer, 02 for Executive Engineer (Civil), 01 Store Officer, 02 for Accounts Officer (on deputation only), and 01 for Assistant Accounts Officer. In case a candidate selected on deputation is not available then the appointment will be done on a contractual basis.
All those candidates who are selected under the said posts are posted at Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences, Shiekhpura, Patna-14. Moreover, IGIMS also provide reservation benefits to the EBC, EWS, SC, ST, BC candidates. However, the reservation facility is not available for the following posts – Financial Advisor, Chief Administrative Officer, Executive Engineer (Civil), Store Officer, Accounts Officer (on deputation only), Assistant Accounts Officer, Data entry Operator and Central Workshop Superintendent.
IGIMS is inviting applications through an offline process. The conducting body is inviting applications from Indian citizens i.e. Interested candidates who wish to submit their candidates for the posts can submit their applications through registered post/ speed post/ courier. The filled in application form can be downloaded from the official website, igims.org and submit it before Oct 19, 2020, at 04:00 PM. In the application form, candidates are asked to submit the details such as name, date of birth, educational qualification marks, name of the post, and others.
The recruitment for the aforementioned posts is conducted by Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences, Bihar. The primary function of IGIMS is to provide super speciality medical facility to the residents of the in and around the state of Bihar.
