Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE) has today, May 02, 2022, conducted the ICSE Mathematics 2021-22 Semester 2 paper. The exam was held for a duration of 1 hour and 30 minutes, from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm, at affiliated schools across the country. All students were expected to solve each question by providing detailed step-wise solutions. So, clearly, the exam was subjective in nature, unlike semester 1 exam which was entirely objective. Unofficial answer keys for today’s paper have been published online by several educators and coaching institutes.
ICSE Maths 2022 Semester 2 Answer Key
CISCE will soon be releasing its own ICSE Mathematics 2021-22 semester 2 answer key on the official website cisce.org. However,this process is sure to take a few days’ time. Till then, students can refer to unofficial answer keys available online. Several educators have already uploaded dedicated videos discussing today’s paper.

While referring to answer key videos, students are advised to keep a notepad and pen handy. So that they can note down the final answer for all questions along with important steps. These points can later, be used to calculate ICSE Maths 2021-22 semester 2 exam score. Of course, for a more accurate figure, students are advised to refer to 2-3 answer keys and find out the right options.
ICSE Maths 2022 Semester 2 Format
As per the ICSE semester 2 specimen paper uploaded by CISCE, today’s Mathematics paper comprised of two sections – Section A and Section B. Section A covered 10 questions for 1 mark each. No internal choices were given in this section. The B part covered 6 questions, each for 10 marks. A student had to attempt any 3 questions, amounting to a total of 40 marks. The remaining 10 marks for this semester will be based on a student’s performance in internal assessments.
After today’s ICSE Semester 2 2022 Maths exam, the next exam is scheduled on Wednesday, May 04, 2022. Two papers are scheduled on this day -Geography – H.C.G. Paper 2 and Geography – H.C.G. Paper 2 (Thailand).
