CISCE has concluded the History and Civics, Semester 1 exam today, December 2, 2021, from 11 am to 12 pm. The Semester 1 examination has been conducted with 50% of the bifurcated syllabus and revised test structure. Answer keys for the exam have been released by several educators online. Although, the board does not release the answer key for ICSE Semester 1 2021 examination. ICSE History and Civics Semester 1: Exam Analysis
Students who had appeared for the ICSE History and Civics examination have specifically expressed that the History section was difficult and the question paper was demanding. Others reported that the Civics section was moderate and doable. The exam was time-consuming and several candidates reported they could not finish the paper as per their content on time.
Furthermore, examinees also reported that the questions were primarily based on the syllabus released earlier for both subjects. The format of the questions was slightly tricky in the Civics section. However, the History section questions were downright difficult and tedious. Students had earlier expressed that the syllabus of the History section was relatively extensive.
