Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has today, December 02, 2021, successfully conducted the Class 10 term I Science (Code 086) exam. The Term I exam was held in the OMR-based pen-and-paper mode at affiliated centres across the country. Overall, the paper was moderate and uniform, with questions centred around three units – one each from Biology, Physics and Chemistry. Equal importance was given to all three subjects. Simply put, a candidate who has thoroughly studied NCERT Class 10 textbooks can easily solve this paper.

CBSE Class 10 Term I Science Exam Analysis

As predicted, the CBSE Class 10 Term I Science paper comprised of equal questions from all three subject sections – Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Questions came from the following chapters –

CBSE Class 10 Term I Science Answer Key: Where to Find

The Class 10 term I Science Exam was conducted today, from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm, through the offline mode. As soon as the exam got over, candidates have begun searching for the answer key. It must be noted that the board does not release the official answer key. It may, however, release a marking scheme for the Science paper specifically on the official website cbse.nic.in. In the meantime, candidates can take a look at answer keys online, uploaded by educational websites and YouTube channels.

An advantage of the CBSE Class 10 Term I Science answer key on YouTube is that the channel also provides short solutions/explanations for each question. Candidates can expect such answer keys in the next hour or so. Following is a list of YouTube channels that may release the answer key for today’s paper along with links to their YouTube channels –

All the above-mentioned channels will either be providing a live session or a dedicated video to provide answers to today’s paper. Hence, candidates can simply access the link, wait for the analysis to begin, and note down the answers while simultaneously watching the video.

Using the answer key, Class 10 students will then, be able to calculate their tentative Term I Science 2021-22 exam score. Later on, using the official answer key released by CBSE, candidates can tally their answers and calculate the final score.
