ICSE English Language semester 1 2021-2022 solved answer key has been released by top educators on their respective YouTube channels. The council has commenced the Term 1 examination from today, November 29, 2021, in a single shift. The examination commence at 11 am and the question paper was distributed at around 10.50 pm. Candidates were also provided 10 minutes to read the question paper.
The bifurcated syllabus for the English Language paper has been released earlier specified that the questions were based only on Comprehension and Grammar. This year the questions were asked in the MCQ (multiple choice questions) format. Students who have appeared for the class 10 exam can check out the answer key to calculate the marks scored in the examination.

Students who have appeared in the exam, have reported that the difficulty level of the question can be kept at an easy to moderate level. The candidates have also shared that comprehension-based questions, e.g. synonyms, one of which was, a synonym for submerged, and definations, including the one for endurance that means to bear, were also asked.
Candidates can check out the youtube channels of top coaching classes to check the answer key for ICSE Class 10 English Language. After getting the video link, they can simply compare the answers marked on the answer key and calculate the tentative marks scored in the examination. Candidates who successfully score marks equivalent to the minimum qualifying marks will be considered to have passed the examination.
From this year onwards, the council has decided to conduct Term 1 and Term 2 examinations. This has been done to tackle the uncertainty regarding the current situation owing to the pandemic. In a bid to make candidates familiar with the revised question paper pattern, the authorities have released the specimen papers. ICSE Term 2 examination is tentatively scheduled to be held in March/April 2022. As per leading reports, 30,000 students have registered to appear for ICSE class 10 exam this year.
