CISCE (Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination) has concluded the ICSE Commercial Studies semester 1 exam today, December 01, 2021, from 11 am to 12 pm. The examination was held on a bifurcated syllabus released by the board earlier for the aforesaid subject.
With exams now being over, solved question paper and answer keys have started pouring on the different social media platforms like Youtube etc. Candidates who have participated in the examination can check out the answer keys video link and go through them to get an idea regarding the analytics of the questions asked.
ICSE Commercial Studies Answer Key
The unofficial answer keys are still awaited however candidates can keep a tab on the youtube channels, Online Education by T Square, and educators like Jain Tutorials, Ranjana Chatterjee as they are expected to release the same soon.
ICSE is expected to release the official answer key for all the subjects soon however by that time candidates can go through the unofficial answer keys released by the educators. Although it is not advised to completely rely on these solved question papers it can be for sure used for getting a speculating idea of the overall performance in the examination.
Candidates can simply compare the answers marked in the answer key with the solved question papers and then use the marking scheme released by the board earlier. These marks although tentative in nature but shall help in deciding if the candidate has passed the examination. It is highly anticipated the result for ICSE Semester 1 exam will be released tentatively in January 2022.
ICSE Commercial Studies Exam Analysis
The council has earlier released the specimen papers for ICSE Commercial Studies and most of the candidates reported that the questions were based on the syllabus released. Despite a few tricky questions, candidates could write the exam with ease. They also shared that the questions were doable and candidates did not find any difficulty in attempting them.
The questions in the semester 1 exam for ICSE Commercial Studies was primarily based on the chapters mentioned in the space below:
- Stakeholders in Commercial Organisations
- Banking
- Marketing and Sales
- Finance and Accounting
- Human Resources and Logistics
It must be noted that the Term 1 exam for ICSE Commercial Studies is conducted for 50% syllabus only for 6 chapters. According to the specimen paper released, the questions were in the form of multiple-choice based questions. The questions were majorly asked as fill in the blanks, one-word substitution, and match the following. The examination was held for 35 questions accounting for 40 marks.
