CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) has conducted the CBSE Class 12 Term 1 major papers from today, December 01, 2021, onwards. The examination for CBSE Term 1 exam has commenced with a Sociology paper (code 039) conducted from 11.30 am to 1 pm. As of now, the exam is over and candidates are looking for the CBSE Class 12 Term 1 answer key along with the paper analysis.
The board is expected to release the official answer key for the CBSE Term 1 Sociology paper soon on the official website. Till then, candidates can rely on the unofficial answer keys and analysis put up by several educators and teachers online on various platforms. The exam analysis of the Sociology paper can be considered to get an idea of the level of the questions asked and round off the provisional score.
These exam analysis keys have been developed by experienced educators and considering the fact that this time the examination is held in the MCQ-baed format, the rendered analysis against every question would be objective. Candidates can go through it to get a complete understanding of the examination and to deduce their respective performances in the Term 1, CBSE exam. The marking scheme prescribed by the board, 1 mark for the correct answer, and no negative marks for wrong answers can be used to calculate the tentative marks scored in the examination.
CBSE 12 Sociology Analysis
Earlier, the board had released the revised Term 1 syllabus for the Sociology subject and as per that Term, 1 exam is held only for 40 marks. The complete syllabus for CBSE class 12 Sociology along with chapter wise marks assigned can be checked below:
- Chapter 1: Social Institutions: Continuity and Change – 10 marks
- Chapter 2: Patterns of Social Inequality and Exclusion – 10 marks
- Chapter 3: The Demographic Structure of the Indian society – 10 marks
- Chapter 4: The Challenges of Cultural Diversity – 10 marks
From this year onwards, CBSE has decided to conduct two Term exams instead of one final board exam. Term 1 exam is conducted for 40 marks in the OMR mode and the result for this examination is expected to be released in January 2022. While Term 2 exam for CBSE Class 12 exam is going to be held between February-March 2022 period.
