Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE) successfully conducted the ICSE Physics 2021-22 semester 2 exam today, May 09, 2022. The exam was held for a duration of 1.5 hours, from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm, at selected schools across the country. The paper covered a balanced mixture of MCQs, theory-based questions and numericals.
Evidently, the paper was both subjective and objective in nature, unlike semester 1 exam which was entirely objective. Unofficial answer keys and video-based solutions have already been uploaded online by educators and subject-matter experts.
ICSE Physics Semester 2 Answer Key
CISCE will soon be releasing the official ICSE Physics answer key 2022 on the official website cisce.org. However, an exact time and date for answer key release remains a mystery. Rather than waiting for the official key, students can rely on video-based solutions uploaded online. Several educators and subject-matter experts have already uploaded dedicated videos discussing today’s Physics paper in detail.

While watching these video-based solutions, students are advised to jot down the right answers simultaneously. Later on, they can use these answers to determine their tentative exam score. Of course, this score is likely to differ from the actual figure. But students can get a tentative idea about their exam performance. ICSE Physics 2022 Semester 2 Format
As per the ICSE semester 2 specimen paper published by CUSCE, today’s Physics – Science Paper 1 comprised of two sections – Section A and Section B. Section A covered 10 sub-questions under question no. 1 for 1 mark each. All sub-questions were compulsory in this section. The B part covered 5 questions, out of which, a student had to attempt any 3 for 10 marks each.
After today’s ICSE Semester 2 2022 Physics – Science Paper 1, the next exam is scheduled on Wednesday, May 11, 2022, Second and Modern Foreign Languages. Second languages include Ao-Naga, Assamese, Odia, Punjabi, Sanskrit, Tamil, Tangkhul, Telugu, Gujarati,Kannada, Khasi, Urdu Bengali, Dzongkha, Garo, Lepcha, Mizo, Malayalam, Marathi and Nepali. Modern Foreign Languages comprise of German, Modern Armenian, Arabic, Portuguese, Spanish, Thai, Tibetan Chinese and French.
