Another important paper was conducted for Class 10 students by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE). Today, May 09, 2022, the Class 10 Physics – Science Paper 1 was conducted through the pen-and-paper format, on a nationwide-level, at schools affiliated with CISCE. The paper was held for a duration of 1.5 hours, from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm. Unlike the semester 1 exam which was entirely objective in nature, today’s Physics paper comprised of objective and subjective questions.
Looking at today’s ICSE Physics Semester 2 2022 paper, one could easily grasp the mixture of multiple-choice questions along with short-answer and long-answer-type questions. Several numerical-based questions also featured in the question paper.
CISCE is soon, going to release, the ICSE Physics Answer Key 2022 on the official website cicse.org. However, the board has not specified a particular date or time for this.So, while waiting for the official answer key, students can resort to unofficial drafts published online by educators and coaching institutes. Most of them have been uploaded in the video format, on YouTube, wherein the educator provides the answer and solution to each question.

ICSE Semester 2 Physics – Paper Analysis
Today’s ICSE Semester 2 Physics paper was based on 50% of the reduced syllabus specified by CISCE. Accordingly, questions were asked from Sound, Electricity & Magnetism, Heat and Modern Physics. The paper was held for a maximum of 40 marks and the remaining 10 marks were allotted to internal assessments.
After the successful conduction of ICSE Physics Semester 2 paper, the next exam is scheduled on Friday, May 11, 2022, for second and modern foreign languages. The last exam will be conducted on May 23, for the Commercial Studies (Group II Elective) subject. All remaining papers shall be organised for the same duration of 1.5 hours.
